General Information
- College volunteers are placed in areas throughout the hospital including: customer service, administrative, and working directly with the patients and families.
- The program session spans 12 weeks during the fall and spring semesters.
Program Requirements
- Volunteer one day per week for 3-4 hours
- A minimum of 25 hours is required
- Proof of MMR immunizations (2 dates) and chicken pox immunity
- Criminal background consent form (volunteer acceptance pending results)
- Tuberculosis (TB) skin tests administered by a Children's occupational health nurse (2 TB skin tests are required for the program)
