ACTTODAY has an after school program that needs volunteers now. We are looking for 30 volunteers (male and female) to participate as teachers/tutors. Some of the areas of assistance include: financial literacy, health and nutrition, personal skill & life development, math (pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calc, calculus, advanced calculus), science (biology, chemistry, physics, earth science).
Each student and/or professional who participates will receive an official letter of completion from ACTODAY Foundation, Inc. along with a personalized letter of recommendation to his or her desire post graduate school and/or place of employment. This will be beneficial for students in all major fields of study.
Orientation and interviews are scheduled for Friday at noon. Each volunteer needs to submit a resume and pass a background check.
The meeting location is at the College Park Housing Authority, at 2015 Virginia Ave., College Park, GA 30337.
