Volunteers Needed for Pet Adoptions

 WE NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR:
 
Every Day
 
"Cat cuddlers" - take cats and kittens out of their cages to play and be held.  If volunteers don't do this, the cats & kittens will not be taken out of their cage!
This can be done any time the clinic is open!
 
Dog walkers - mornings and evenings.  Take the dogs for a walk in the neighborhood by the clinic.

EFSP Seeking Applications

The Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) Local Board in Atlanta/Fulton/DeKalb is seeking volunteers to review applications for the 2012 grant cycle.  Anyone who has an interest in evaluating social service programs in the metro Atlanta area is welcome.  There will be volunteer training during November, and application reviews and site visits will occur during December and January.

The time commitment for an EFSP volunteer is as follows:
Volunteer Training—2 hours
Application Reviews (8-10 applications)—3-4 hours
Site Visits (1-2)—4-6 hours
Site Visit debrief—2 hours
Final allocations meeting—4 hours
